The Secret - there is abundance of all things

The Universe offers all things to all people through the law of attraction. You have the ability to choose what you want to experience. Do you want there to be enough for you and for everyone? Then choose that and know, "There is abundance of all things." "There is an unlimited supply." "There is so much magnificence." Each of us has the ability to tap into that unlimited invisible supply through our thoughts and feelings, and bring it into our experience. So choose for You, because you're the only one who can.

The Secret

The earth turns on its orbit for You. The oceans ebb and flow for You. The birds sing for You. The sun rises and it sets for You. The stars come out for You. Every beautiful thing you see, every wondrous thing you experience, is all there, for You. Take a look around. None of it can exist, without you. No matter who you thought you were, now you know the Truth of Who You Really Are. You are the master of the Universe. You are the heir to the kingdom. You are the perfection of Life. And now you know The Secret. May the joy be with you.

Psychic abilities

Just recently someone asked me how to develop Telekinesis.

Well,  I really am no expert but it is an interesting topic. So, I think I wanna write MHO about it.

Magic and Psychic abilities are different in nature. Magic is an art (or arcane art to some) that can be learnt by any of us (or so but there could be limitations on individuals, I'm not sure of this). It is an art of manipulation of the chi / energy around us to achieve certain means.

Psychic abilities on the other hand, IMHO has to do with a person's latent mind powers. We all know we use only a small fraction of our brain's capabilities. It is said that using just 50% (maybe even less) of the brain's capabilities can already enable a person to achieve many near impossible psychic feats. So imagine if we can use 100% of our brain's capabilities.

From my understanding of energy, going back to our hand appearing solid when its actually a mass of vibrating energy, there is no "in here" and "out there". So its all one interconnected energy field. Well... with consciousness at one part and w/o consciousness at other parts.

While magic is the ability to manipulate these energies, psychic abilities would IMHO be the ability to tap into this energy field for various purposes e.g. information (mind reading), communication (telepathy) and well... not sure if this is so... but... here goes... by somehow manipulating the energies around an object through space and time, maybe even move a physical object and achieve what we call telekinesis. (this is just my theory... I could be way off). I say space and time because the concept of space and time exist in our physical world. But in the spiritual world, that concept does not exist (so I understand).

But one thing is for sure, advanced meditation techniques and certain yoga practices does open a person's "3rd eye" and thus develop a person's psychic faculties. This apart from increasing a person's ability to manipulate energy (magical powers).

I must say though, some meditation techniques and yoga practices take longer time to manifest such abilities. But one should not choose meditation and yoga just for the sole purpose of developing such abilities / faculties.

We should, on the other hand, be choosing meditation and yoga practice to do for the purpose of developing ourselves spiritually. The resulting clarity of mind and cleaner bodies (physical, emotional, mental etc etc) from the practice will bring about the positive side effect of heightened psychic faculties and if you are trained in the ways of the magi, increased healing powers, power of manifestation etc.

To choose to learn meditation and yoga for the purpose of developing psychic abilities, I'm afraid, could lead to one being swayed to the dark side. Reason is, your objective and purpose was flawed in the first place. Of course, this is just theory and my opinion. I could be way off.

Personally, I have asked how to develop my psychic abilities too. The answers I have gotten from 3 different teachers and channeler was to meditate. That was 8 years ago, and the latest 1 year ago. But I've postponed. I don't know why... maybe I'm just lazy. Maybe I didn't want to start again (I used to many years ago) because I knew I wouldn't stick to it as of yet. Or maybe, subconsciously, my reason for meditating would be skewed and not for spiritual development. Hmmm...

But one funny think I know... some people would say all these is "the devil's work" or hullabaloo. ROFLMAO!!!

To say that would be to deny one's own soul's existence in my opinion. Because we are created in HIS likeness. Created in HIS likeness does not mean for one instance that HE has 2 arms, 2 legs, humanoid figure, 2 eyes bla bla bla (you know what I mean). It means we are of HIS essence. Therefore anything HE can do, we can. All the great Avatars of our time could do it. So can countless yogis and monks throughout time immemorial.

Well, that's all for now.

Seeking refuge with like minded people

Things seem to be happening so fast this year. And it's only 17 days into the new year. Whooohh...

My soul searching or inward search of myself resulted in me wanting to write like crazy anything that comes to mind.

I've also noticed that any event can all of a sudden create in me the urge to write.

And it is strange how this all started. Reflecting back, I realize that it came from a close friend Stephen Koh. He suddenly went on a Facebook spree and I have been getting some small urges to write something and so I took the bait and geez... Funny how the universe works.

Hmm...I must be going nuts. But that's what I am experiencing.

Never knew this part of me before all this.

Lately also I've been getting the urge to go into the company of like minded people. To draw strength from and maintain my sanity.

It really is reassuring to know that I am not alone in this experience and that there are like minded "crazy" people around also. The path can be lonely... Ah... Those words ring true.

The urge to write and write till Kingdom come

Lately I have been having urges to just write and write and write... That's why I just pen my thoughts down as they come.

I didn't expect nor do I think anybody would read what I wrote. You can after all set Facebook to turn off certain post if you don't want to be bothered.

But lo and surprise... Some people have told me (outside of facebook) that they read though they never commented. I was quite taken a back. Basically they read and went "duh" with blank look aka blew over their heads.. lol

You see... I care not who reads it or if anybody reads it at all. It is just my avenue for expressing my thoughts out loud, more for myself, to maintain my sanity maybe :-)

So I think I need to clarify certain things here.

If somebody reads it and it just goes over their head and they go "duh" that's fine. Something would still be implanted and in the future who knows, something may happen and you may reflect back... And you know what they say, "when the student is ready the teacher will appear." :-)

If reading helps anyone take anything positive out of it, great... I'm glad it has some impact though I never intend it that way.

If it is negative well... Tough luck dude. Not meant to ruffle your feathers. But if something I wrote touches a raw nerve in you, it usually means you've got an issue within yourself that you need to address. My writings are just the event or catalyst. So you then have an option to look within and perhaps do something and thus grow your context.

Of course it is also your free will to discard it. They are, after all, my opinions only (though I must say, I stand by it until proven wrong). You can just discard it and move on.

If reading it inspired you to comment, by all means, I am willing to accommodate and we can both grow our context together.

So hope this helps.

If you know for sure you cannot fail

If you knew nothing can stand in your way, what would you attempt to achieve?

Sounds like one of those motivational speakers' questions right?

But really, if you truly truly know this, what would you do?

If I recall correctly, Chinese Fengshui says there are 3 parts to a person's destiny: 1)heaven; 2)earth; & 3)personal.

Indian or Vedic astrology also has something similar I think.

So, in essence, nobody is created equal, in a certain sense. But of course, this is something that's not cast in stone. Meaning a person's free will does play a part.

Look at those HK celebrities and you can see all that Fengshui come to play.

But for us ordinary folks, we normally don't have a lot of excess moolah to change certain "characteristics" like those celebs.

But say we find out that in our charts, we cannot fail. What would we do then? Say for example: your charts say "you are here to create anything u want to create... Anything... And it shall be done... Nothing can stand in your way except yourself..."

Wah! Like give you open cheque book.

What would you do?

I think there are 2 sides of it. At one side, it's like an open cheque book or blank piece of paper so to speak. And you just "draw" the life that your mind can fathom. You'll be limited only by your imagination or even your context.

On the other side however, while it is an open cheque book, danger lurkes though you may not be effected. Since you may then know that nothing can stand in the way of your vision, it's easy then to fall onto the dark side. Especially if you are on the spiritual path.

Sounds like Darth Vader in real life huh?

I don't know if I am making sense but that's what's on my mind now.

From The Secret - make it a habit to bless everything

Are we becoming more efficient or is the world slowing down?

Have anyone ever wondered why some people appear so slow lately? Or you feel you are sometimes impatient?

I've been having this experience for a few years now. I thought it was just me.

Well, apparently not. Some of my friends have also been experiencing this phenomenon more than before.

Apparently the new energies coming in now (past few years and getting stronger) are causing those of us who have been working on our own personal development to become a whole lot more efficient.

Whereas those who haven't been growing will still be working at the old pace. Hence the relative speed of things. We appear too fast for them and they appear too slow for us.

Well... What to do?

And if you have not been working on yourself, then the universe would most likely create events for you to force you to do something. And you may not like the event it sends you..

That's the price you pay for neglecting your own development. Not to worry though. It's never too late. Or rather... Better late than never.

It's good to know I'm not alone in this experience though. Otherwise I would have thought I'm going crazy. Lmao

From The Secret - the universe wants to express thru u

From The Secret:

There is so much unlimited wonder and magnificence that awaits you, if you can just let go and let it into your life. The Universe cannot express itself through you if you are busy with your little plans. The Universe wants to express BIG plans through You. To tune into the Universal Good, quiet your senses, focus your mind to within You, and feel the presence of this almighty power that permeates every cell of your body. You will feel a peace, a serenity, and joy begin to rush through you. Be still, and as you feel the power inside you, know that this is the power of the entire universe, and in this moment You are connected to it all.

Religious Dogma

All religion will claim that theirs stand up to any scrutiny. And you will have those who say this religion failed them but this one supported them. Funny thing is, some other person would say the same thing but for the exact opposite religion. Also, a Staunchy from a particular religion would say that for a religion to stand it must pass this test, that test and that all the rest flunk it when put under the microscope except the one he is in. Well, guess what? To another Staunchy from another religion, he says the exact same thing but for his religion. It doesn't take a genius to see that they are both talking bullcrap. So really...what's the deal?

On one side, the universal practices that advocate peace, compassion, loving kindness etc etc that all religion preaches are good practices that we should all follow. In that sense all religion advocates good.

However, religion is still man made. Therefore many of the so-called laws were also man made and they fall apart if you remove any of their central pillars. Notice how advocates of any religion says theirs stand up to scrutiny but when you question some of their key central pillars, they steadfastly say that those are non-negotiable? Well, if it stands up to scrutiny, then those pillars need not be non-negotiable conditions.

Example: Christians believe that it is only through Jesus that you can enter the kingdom of God. Well... Jesus didn't exactly say that. To put it in simple terms, what he basically said was that you follow my path, you will get there. In other words, practice the way of life that I've shown you, and you will get there. He is also not the only "Son" of God. He is like us all... sons and daughters of God (or supreme source or etc). Remember? We're eternal beings created in His likeness. the difference between Jesus and the rest of us? He is far more spiritually developed than us all i.e. an Enlightened being. If you remove that exclusivity pillar "only through Jesus", the religion collapses. The truth is that, you don't need to go through him. Heck... many before and after him have done it without going through him. Therefore you can develop yourself spiritually to the extend you can achieve what he has achieved. You just need to follow his "footsteps"... or any other prophet's footsteps for that matter.

The moslems got part of this right. They consider Nabi Isa as another prophet which is truly spot on! It is the Christians, after 2000 over years of church exclusive control, who have been blinded to this fact. They even started a few crusades too with blessings from popeye (The Pope). Geez, why does Jesus or God need you to fight for Him? against His own children some more... duh...

I can imagine the staunchies going up in arms with what I just said... well, tough luck. You really need to relook at your faith. I'm not asking you to discard it. No. I'm asking you to relook at it and question what if this pillar (e.g.: Jesus being son of God) is removed, would it still stand. Even if it doesn't stand, don't leave. You should be there because of the prophet's teachings and not because some loud mouth relative, pastor, priest or monk says their religion is "the only way". Remember...All rivers lead to the ocean. Furthermore, the holy books and the Avatars/Messiahs talk in Parables and leave clues ot their meanings. One has to develop oneself spiritually and one will decipher the meanings. Also as we grow, the same parable will give us differing meanings as higher truths are revealed.

Anyway to put some humor into this topic... At the start there was Catholicism, then some horny king decided he didn't like certain rules and so he protested and so we have protestants. Of course he can't tell the masses the real reason for him protesting was because his  was horny right? Then from there, more divergence came and now if you are Lutheran, your firm believe is all the rest go to hell (WTF). For the moslems, the Sunni and Shia sects came about from an internal power struggle that basically saw the Prophet's descendants being killed so that certain people can usurp/remain in power (haiyayai). Lets not forget the Buddhist. The Mahayana think their way is the right way and that the Theravadas are lesser vehicles. The Theravada on the other hand says their way is the purest way. etc etc etc and the followers all go ya ya ya with no mind of their own to discern (duh...). Oh, lets not forget the Taoist... when you pass away you go thru so many hells and you need to bribe countless officials to get to heaven (walaowei... are you fucking kidding me?)

But you know the funny thing? Actually all the teachings of all the prophets do add up (if you remove the man-made portion aka religion and their different sects)

When the Buddha was still around 2500 years or so ago, he said in 1 period (that's 500 years) another teacher will come in the west. Approx. 500 years later, Jesus of Nazareth (spelling correct ka?) was born and we have the story of the 3 wise men from the east. There is also a period of missing years during Jesus life. Well, missing from west but not missing in the east. I cannot remember which historical record was this in, but it was reported that about 500 years after Buddha's ascension, a great teacher came from the west to learn (or rather to remember) from the disciples of a certain MoniSyakya (don't know the exact spelling). Now, there is NO teacher by the name of MoniSyakya in the east at the time of Jesus's life. But western and eastern names have different arrangements to it. So MoniSyakya could have been Syakyamuni which coincidentally is the name of the Buddha when he achieved enlightenment. These same records also later recorded the east's great disbelief and appall that this great teacher was crucified.

Now the Buddha also said, in 5 periods of 500 (I don't know why he like to talk like that. All these prophets like to talk in parables) this same teacher's consciousness will return. Now is about that time. The Christians and Moslems say Armageddon aka judgement day. Well... sorry to burst your bubble but its sort of 12 years late don't you think. Oh I see... it is 21 dec 2012 like the Mayan says... ooooo... duh, lets see shall we?

On the other hand, if you look at Humanity as a whole, we have risen against injustice. Our collective consciousness have expanded (though not big enough yet). There is more good around though we also hear more evil (probably because information is at a click away so we hear it faster and of course no news sells as hot as bad news :-)) ). We are evolving as a race. The Arab spring is no accident. It was something bound to happen. More of us are doing charity work and spiritual work at a younger age (remember a time when this used to be majority older people?). Humanity as a whole is moving towards an era of self governance of equality, of accountability, of just... etc etc etc.

In the coming new era, I think the masses' approach to religion would change and the "powers that be" within each religion really needs to come clean. The Vatican themselves have admitted that there are aliens (duh... beam me up scotty, tell me something I don't know. What makes us think we are the only talking animal in this universe?). Some daring christians pastors have admitted that some of the rules in christianity are to control people. Same goes for other religions. But understandably.. it is difficult. Imagine telling millions of people after a few thousand years that some of the things that they were taught are actually hullabaloo... whoa... all hell breaks loose man. But really.. do you rather they find out themselves face hitting the wall? Jury is still out on this one.

All the great Avatars/Prophets of our time: Moses, LaoTze, Syakyamuni, Jesus, Mohamad etc all preach that we follow certain way of life. That would be our guidance. Not what the church or temple tells you to do.
