I know this is a very harsh statement. And some people may not be able to stomach it. Well...hear me out and I'll explain it.
While it is true that some people are born with a silver spoon it certainly doesn't mean that they will get to keep their wealth with them. Especially when that wealth was accumulated by the previous generation and they are just reaping the benefits or spoils. There is a Chinese saying that wealth lasts for 3 generations at most: the first generation accumulates it, the second enjoys it, the third squanders it.
There is a reason for that. And it can be explained from an energy perspective. We also know from the Law of Attraction that like attracts like and our mindset determines our life.
For starters, to be fair, I must say that most poor people know no better. Their cup (context) is so small. So how can we expect them to contain higher truths? What we say to them about wealth would most likely blow over their heads. It's not that they don't want to receive, it's just that they are just not able to receive. I am sure, if given equal opportunities, everyone would want to improve their lives. But many cannot not because they don't want to but because they can't see it. And since they can't see it, they fall back on what they know best, which unfortunately is what kept them there in the first place. Some of them see it but it gets uncomfortable and thus they prefer to stay in their comfort zone or with what they know best. The problem with what they know best is that that's what is keeping them there in the first place. You can take the world's wealth and distribute it equally amongst the 7 billion of us human beings and give it a few years, say 5-10 years, and come back and check back on humanity. When you revisit and check the wealth distribution 5-10 years later, you'll find that the wealth has again been re-distributed, to pretty much similar to how it was before you gave everyone their equal share. The odd persons who have far more wealth than before would be the ones who had the personal development but no money (yet) at the time before your equal distribution. The odd persons who had money before your equal distribution but no money after 5-10 years would be those who never had the personal development but inherited a big sum of money from somewhere. There is a saying, "A fool and his money is soon parted".
Anyway, we will start with the Law of Attraction first. People who have a poor person's mentality (i.e. looking for handouts, having an outlook that there isn't enough for all or a "lack" mentality) go about life as if they need to struggle to make ends meet. They have a "lack" mentality. Hence because they keep having that mentality, they are portraying to the universe that they are struggling, that they do not have enough, that life is a struggle etc etc. and by the Law of Attraction, what they put out is what they will receive back. Hence they keep attracting events that will further reinforce their belief that there isn't enough to go around for everyone.
Of course it is rather difficult for someone poor to focus on abundance when he/she has to worry about putting bread on the table for the family. But that's what they should not be focusing on. While putting bread on the table is important, and should be at the back of the mind, their focus should be on how to increase their means i.e. generating wealth. But if a person's mindset is poor (i.e. lacking personal development), there is no way they can focus on generating wealth because they would not know how to. Hence it is like a vicious cycle. They are poor to start with and their mindset keeps them poor as they know no better.
If you are skiing down a slope and you see a tree in front of you, what should you do to avoid that tree? Do you focus on that tree? Or do you keep that tree at the back of the mind so you know it is there but you then focus on going somewhere else away from the tree? Needless to say, focusing on the tree will cause you to have a head on collision with it and in fact as you near it, your constant focusing on it caused you to blank out everything else and that makes your collision even more unavoidable. On the other hand, focusing elsewhere while maintaining the tree at the back of the mind enables you to keep calm and look for solutions to get out of your predicament. Your chances of avoiding the collision is sooo much higher. This is personal development, your intelligence, your "fill in the blank".
Poor people have small context (not all poor people). Their cup can only contain so much. And as explained by Maslow's Diagram, basic needs need to be satisfied first. However constant focus on that without personal development results in them getting caught up in "life", knowing no different, and they keep on making poor decisions etc that ultimately keeps them poor.
You would also notice, if you do charity work, that many of these poor people expect handouts. And when you give them charity ("fish") some of them not only do not show gratitude, they even have the gall to complain and scold you if it is not to their expectations or taste etc. Imagine sending chicken rice to the needy and one or two of them tell you they don't want chicken rice today, they want noodles and insist on it. Hello?! They will complain about everything but they will not do anything. In fact, even some of those who on the outside seems "nice", when the help stops for whatever reason, they become instantly hostile and demand their handouts. So in light of all these, is it any wonder that the poor are poor? Of course this is a general statement. Not all of them are like that. But if one knows energy and the Law of Attraction, it becomes apparent why they are poor.
On top of that, some of them makes matters worse for themselves by not meaning what they say. Today they tell you one thing but tomorrow they do something else. Or worse, they don't do anything at all after saying they would do something. This directy effects their basic chakra. The basic chakra shrinks every time they do not honor their words. Their words end up having no power. So how on earth are they going to be able to manifest anything?
In fact if you attempt to help them develop themselves, majority of them choose to give excuses rather than find the time for personal development. Most wouldn't even believe in personal development. To them, personal development is nonsense and that they do not need it. They would look at trainers as conmen who are after their money. And they would rather be right about that than to change themselves. They may put up the hand and say they want to change, but when it comes to the crust, they back out or give excuses or say their boss won't let them (their "so and so" won't let them). All sorts of excuses start coming out. They will blame the rich, the government, their spouse, everybody else but themselves. Of course, again, not all are like that. There are those who consciously makes the effort to develop themselves to get themselves out of the rut they are in. Kudos to those who do.
So you see...poor people "chose" to be poor by the decisions that they are making. Such decisions in life keeps them where they are and it becomes a vicious cycle for them and their families. I had a late friend who was a high flyer at one time, but due to a poor mindset, fell onto bad times. Though he attempted to develop himself, he couldn't take his focus off his problems. Hence it was this problem and that problem. Car repossessed etc. To make matters worse, he started saying that his religion says this and that. His religious righteousness came into play. Well....to cut the story short, he died a pauper. This was many years ago. The funny thing was this, after he passed away, his widow, who also developed her own personal development, but definitely having a more positive outlook of life, started having break throughs. While I do not know the full story of what happened since I last saw him alive, I know she is now remarried and quite successful. The shackles were removed upon his passing. He was the reason why they stayed poor all this while. He was overpowering but in a wrong way and his mentality kept them poor. Sigh....
On the other hand rich people have a rich person's mindset. I don't mean expensive taste. I mean they think differently. They see things as ideas not problems. They look for solutions instead of handouts or complaining. Their personal development is constantly growing. There is so much to learn. They have open minds. They also have a more positive outlook. Is it any wonder the money follows them? Energy wise, they have strong basic chakras. They honor their words therefore their words have power and this directly effects their manifestation ability.
If a rich person loses all of his/her money, as long as he still has his personal development with him, he would easily regain it all. We all know of multi-millionaires or billionaires who lost it all only to get it all back within a few years, don't we? Donald Trump is one. We also know of poor people with poor mentality who got it lucky and made millions only to lose it all and never regain that money back. Some famous sports personalities or entertainment personalities fall into this category. They made millions but died paupers.
So that's why I say the poor chose to be poor. It is either conscious or unconscious but they made that decision at a certain level as harsh as this may sound. And this is why I absolutely believe in Personal Development. And Personal Development encompasses everything including spiritual.
