The key to visualization is to keep the picture moving in your mind, and yourself moving in the picture. If you keep the picture moving like a movie, you can master visualization really quickly. If the picture is static it is a lot harder to hold the picture in your mind.
Keep your visualization busy with lots of movement, and your mind will become so captivated it will not be able to think of anything else.

Different Types of Yoga
It is said that one should choose the style of yoga that one would like to learn, then choose a master or teacher that has a class in that style, then a class at the right level for you. However, if you are new to yoga you won't know which style you want and if you don't know any local teachers you won't know which one to choose. To start with, it may be simpler to try out a class that just happens to be convenient in terms of time and location. The above statement applies to the majority of people who seek out Yoga. However, for those of us who are already on the spiritual path, we may find ourselves drawn to certain yoga practices (possibly subconscious inclinations due to past lives)
It is important to note here that whatever Yoga practice, it generally involves the following: Physical posturing, meditations, and meditation with purposeful energy. The difference between the 3 can be shown with this paradigm: They all belong to one family called Yoga, with 3 different types of general vehicles i.e. Physical, meditative, and meditative with energy. So the equivalent paradigm to explain this is to think of Toyota. In Toyota family, we have Daihatsu cars, Toyota cars and Lexus cars. Get the picture?
Some yoga teachers today may mix a few varieties together however, seldom would one include meditations with purposeful energy. I say purposeful energy because those meditation involves intentional diverting of the body's chi/prana to specific locations in the body intentional circulation of chi/prana via certain paths to achieve certain specific objectives. This is usually high level type of meditations and not many can guide this kinds of meditation properly. A wrong move can result in Kundalini Syndrome. Usually only esoteric schools or very advanced beings can guide this type of meditations. And this is something you definitely cannot get from universities via any form of diploma or degree in Yoga that seems to be cropping out everywhere. I must warn that if one chooses to go for the advanced type, don't go to one who claims to have diplomas or degrees for they cannot guide you in advanced meditations. They can only guide you in the normal types of yoga practices.
The following information is an excerpt from text written by Don Kent. It provides an overview of yoga styles, systems and related styles of body and energy work. However, editing of the text has been done the refect a more spiritual take on yoga (which is Yoga's real intention anyway)
Agni Yoga: Literally meaning 'fire' Agni yoga is a synthesis of several other yogas, principally Raja yoga, Karma Yoga and Bhakti Yoga
Astanga Vinyasa Yoga: Based on the asana limb of Astanga Yoga, it includes joining postures called Vinyasa, and there is usually a fairly rigid sequence of postures executed with pranayama (breath) and bandhas (muscular locks for the retention of prana)
Astanga Yoga: Means 8-limbed yoga path as described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali: Yama (moral code), Niyama (self-purification), Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath control), Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi (enlightenment).
Bhakti Yoga: The Yoga of Love and Devotion. The favorite yoga of the Indian masses that focus on particular Hindu gods (typically Krishna). St. Francis of Agassi was probably practicing Christian Bhakti Yoga.
Bihar School of Yoga: Founded in 1963 by Swami Satyananda Saraswati in Munger, India - it provides hatha yoga as defined in their book 'Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha'
Hatha Yoga: From the sanskrit words 'Ha' (Sun) and 'tha' (Moon), it is the primary yoga type found in the West with a focus on asana (postures), purification and breath for health and union of the body, mind and spirit.Integral Yoga: Integral Yoga is a synthesis of yogas to develop all aspects of personal growth and includes raja yoga, japa yoga, hatha yoga, karma yoga, bhakti yoga and jnana yoga.
Iyengar Yoga: A school of hatha yoga with its own teacher training that focuses on stronger yoga postures with emphasis on alignment. Blocks, bricks and belts are often used to get alignment and 'perfect' posture.
Jnana Yoga: From the 8-limbed path of Astanga yoga, Jnana is the path of spiritual knowledge and wisdom through study and meditation to discard the illusory. 'Neti neti' - not this, not that and 'Who am I?' are jnana yoga tools.
Karma Yoga: The path of selfless service. As Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita 'Whoever lets go attachment to the fruits of his actions, and instead dedicates his actions to God, is not touched by sin, like the lotus leaf is not touched by water'.
Kriya Yoga: This is a form of hatha yoga promoted by Goswami Kriyananda, who founded the Temple of Kriya, after the teachings of Babaji. It combines the 8 limbs of astanga yoga with astrology linked to the chakras.
Kundalini Yoga: This is hatha yoga with an emphasis on awakening the kundalini energy, normally lying dormant at the base chakra, through severe practices of breath retention and meditation.
Laya Yoga: See Kundalini YogaMantra Yoga: Spiritual development through the use of repetitive sounds, which may be sub-vocalized as in Transcendental Mediation. Rhythmic repetition of a mantra like 'Om' is called japa. There are many mantras, some focused on a god, but even the sanskrit alphabet is believed to be effective in stilling the mind and moving closer to samadhi.
Meditation: Typically seated with an erect spine, meditation forms the core yoga of ancient times and should be a part of every yogi's practice. It aims to calm the perturbations of the mind to allow the true nature of the mind, the self and the universe to reveal itself in a state called enlightenment, self-realization or samadhi.
Power Yoga: See Astanga Vinyasa Yoga. Power Yoga is a variation pioneered by Beryl Bender Birch
Pranayama: One of the 8 limbs of Astanga Yoga. It is a set of techniques to work with subtle energy or prana through the breath.
Raja (or Royal) Yoga: 'Royal' as you become ruler of your mind, raja yoga works upon the mind refining and perfecting it and through the mind on the body. Most people end up combining hatha yoga, focused on the body and breath, with raja yoga.
Sahaja Yoga: Literally meaning 'born with you', sahaja yoga works on de-conditioning the mind so that self-realization is achieved, kundalini energy rises and the light of divine love emanates out to others.
Sapta Yoga: This is Hatha Yoga based on the classical text the 'Gheranda Samhita', and is taught at the Patanjali Yoga Center in Katmandhu, Nepal.
Siddha Yoga: Siddha Yoga Meditation has the goal of self-realization through meditation, chanting, contemplation, study and selfless service (karma yoga). It is based upon Vedanta and Kashmir Shivaism.Surat Shabd or Nada Yoga: This form of yoga connects the soul to the universal consciousness through the use of meditation and sound (shabd) and is of Sikh origins, based on the texts of Sant Kabir. Eckankar is a similar following.
Tai Chi: This is a form of moving meditation based upon a self-defensive martial art created by a Taoist monk from China about 800 years ago. Tai Chi must be practiced mindfully and provides a high degree of awareness and tranquility.
Tantric Yoga: Becoming enlightened through the opening up of the chakras to allow the prana to move up the sushumna is a general yogic goal. Tantric yoga achieves this through the power of sexual energy on the basis that it is natural and loving and so cannot be contrary to God.
Transcendental Meditation: This is a form of mantra meditation created for westerners by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Two 20-minute meditations per day to create a calmer mind with many benefits including creativity and eventually siddhis.
Vini Yoga: The Viniyoga tradition is a form of hatha yoga that avoids mere mechanical practice of asana but adapts to the body's current condition through self-awareness - rather like the Alexander Technique - and release habitual stress patterns in the body.
Yantra Yoga: With the use of sight and form upon which to contemplate, Yantra Yoga aims to calm the mind to allow the true self to shine through. Mandala patterns are also yantra.Yoga of Synthesis (Arhatic Yoga): A synthesis of karma yoga, bhakti yoga, jnana yoga and raja yoga. Yoga of Synthesis is also another name for Arhatic yoga which uses a systematic method to awaken kundalini and activate the chakras, rather like kundalini yoga. Modern day Arhatic Yoga is done together with Pranic Healing. The healing work serves as a vehicle for community service to generate the good karma required to develop fast spiritually using Arhatic Yoga.
While all yoga practices take the yogi to the ultimate same path, the vehicles are not all the same. Remember my example on Toyota cars. however, does that mean we should all go for "Lexus cars"? No... there is a high price to pay for the higher vehicles. Not all of us can afford that price. So it's better to use one that suits our budget else it burns a hole in our pockets. But unlike cars, at the most, the financier just repossess the car back. In spirituality, if one is not ready for the higher teachings but bull dozes through, the resulting effects and consequences could be too much for one to bear. We're dealing with soul energy here. Kundalini Syndrome, if it is just some twitching of muscles or general physical discomfort, is "minor". However, if it manifest as rapid ripening of karmic seeds, it would be "Hell on earth". As Heaven and Hell is a state of being, imagine our state of mind if our negative karmic seeds start ripening at an accelerated pace. Shit after shit befalls us. And it happens in such rapid pace that you KNOW it is NOT normal. I can tell you it is extremely difficult to maintain a positive outlook in life when that happens. And via the Law of Attraction, as your outlook turn negative, you attract even more shit to you.

From The Secret - Create A Vision Board
A vision board is a tool to help you create the image in your mind of what you want. As you look at the vision board you are imprinting the picture of your desire in your mind. As you focus on your vision board it stimulates your senses and evokes a positive feeling within you. Then you have the two elements of creation - your mind and your feelings - working in full force.

From The Secret - Time is an Illusion
Einstein told us that time is just an illusion. When you understand and accept that there is no time, you can see that whatever you want in the future already exists. That is why when you write, imagine, or speak of your desire, you should use the present tense. Radiate your desire in your mind, heart, and body, and see it as here now.
Different Energy Healing Modalities - What Suits You?
![]() |
| Usui |
There are many different types of energy healing modalities in this world. What used to be called magic in the past is now called energy work or just energy healing. The methodology employed differs between each of them while maintaining certain similarities. To the average person on the street, this is New Age stuff and that all those fellas going for it are quacks.
Well... like I've said before, these modalities are actually not new. They've been around for thousands of years. Even the most famous and "old" of them all (present day that is), Reiki was "founded" (more like discovered) in the late 19th century in Japan by Usui. I say "founded" because he discovered it suddenly. He wasn't actively searching for it. IMHO, it could be that his Kundalini was awakened and perhaps he was contacted by spiritual beings to bring forth this healing technique. Maybe... who knows? But from Japan, Mrs Takata brought Reiki to the western world and since then Reiki has evolved into many different forms.

| Reiki |
Many different Reiki styled healing schools have mushroomed with other spiritual beings contacting certain practitioners to further evolve the system. There are soooo many types now. Some powerful, some not so powerful compared to the original system. The Reiki based system is very yin (feminine). There is hardly any hand movements. And clairvoyantly it appears to be bringing forth Electric Violet Light, an intelligent form of divine energy that comes from above through our crown chakra.
The system gives the appearance of a faith healer or spiritual healer placing his/her hand just above the area on the patients body that is having a dis-ease. Thus it gives an impression of faith healing / spiritual healing. Actually energy is flowing from the Divine to the healer's crown, out through the healer's hands to the patient. And Electric Violet Light is intelligent and knows where to go to when at the patient's energy body.

| Pranic Crystal Healing |
Pranic Healing is another very different modality. Although the modern Pranic Healing system was brought forth in a big way by the late GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui in the late 20th century, it has actually been around for thousands of years spanning many cultures and continents but called different names, independent of each other. Because the practice is based on a healer's use of the elements air, sun, ground and divine Prana (meditation and prayer), it naturally developed in several places and quickly adapted to new communities once introduced. Over time the Rishis, Chinese Taoists, and Tibetan monks (the most prominently known users of Pranic healing) used Prana. Lessons in Pranic healing were cloaked in secrecy and only taught to a few, who were responsible for passing down the practice.
Pranic healing empowered ancient people to heal one another. It created a system of respected mystical healers with a following of laypeople who were able to overcome their ailments, or at least believe they were getting better. Because of the religious connotations of Pranic healing, the healers were thought to be closer to God and therefore were part of a caste system that helped to structure ancient civilizations in terms of power, religion and healing. Though actually the truth was that the practitioners knew how to manipulate energy so appear to be god like to the masses. The teachings were secret remember? Pranic Healing or similar type are very yang (masculine) with lots of hand movement. Think of shamanism and you get the picture.
So which system suits you depends on you entirely. Some people (both guys and gals) are more Yin and thus Reiki or an equivalent Yin system suits them. Whereas some people (also guys and gals) are more Yang and thus Pranic Healing or an equivalent Yang system suits them. But that does not mean we cannot learn both types. we can learn any system and the stick with the one that suits us. Or perhaps, from there, who knows? An amalgamation of systems perhaps?
But all of them have a few things in common:
![]() |
| Pranic Healing |
But all of them have a few things in common:
- Meditation (advanced type) increases the healers powers and effectiveness. That's why shamans, martial artists etc meditate a lot...it is to increase chi.
- The cleaner the physical and etheric body of the healer, the finer the energy that comes through. The reverse is true for grouser physical and etheric bodies. If you "defile" yourself, naturally the energy that flows through would be "dirtier" in nature. You won't be able to heal effectively and you may even make patients worse.
- Healers have to believe in a higher power (God) for the energies to flow through them.
- Healers need not be of any particular religion as religion is man-made. True spirituality or universal truths is universal and is not the exclusivity of any one culture, race nor religion regardless of the capacity of the human mind to accept the truth.
Fairies - do they exist?
![]() |
| Disney Fairy |
Fairies are natures "angels". An advanced being once said that every leaf, every blade of grass etc has a fairy looking after it. They are beings of light and thus have no physical persona. They vibrate at a higher energy frequency thus we cannot see them with our naked eyes. We can only see them if our 3rd eye (governed by our forehead chakra, not ajna) is open.
Wikipedia describes fairies as human in appearance and having magical powers. It explains fairies as origins being less clear in the folklore, being variously dead, or some form of demon, or a species completely independent of humans or angels. Below is an excerpt from Wikipedia:
Folklorists have suggested that their actual origin lies in a conquered race living in hiding, or in religious beliefs that lost currency with the advent of Christianity. These explanations are not necessarily incompatible, and they may be traceable to multiple sources.
Much of the folklore about fairies revolves around protection from their malice, by such means as cold iron (iron is like poison to fairies, and they will not go near it) or charms or avoiding offense by shunning locations known to be theirs. In particular, folklore describes how to prevent the fairies from stealing babies and substituting changelings, and abducting older people as well. Many folktales are told of fairies, and they appear as characters in stories from medieval tales of chivalry, to Victorian fairy tales, and up to the present day in modern literature.
In his manuscript, The Secret Commonwealth of Elves, Fauns and Fairies, Reverend Robert Kirk, minister of the Parish of Aberfoyle, Stirling, Scotland, wrote in 1691:
Gothic Fairy
"These Siths or Fairies they call Sleagh Maith or the Good People...are said to be of middle nature between Man and Angel, as were Daemons thought to be of old; of intelligent fluidous Spirits, and light changeable bodies (lyke those called Astral) somewhat of the nature of a condensed cloud, and best seen in twilight. These bodies be so pliable through the sublety of Spirits that agitate them, that they can make them appear or disappear at pleasure."
Although in modern culture they are often depicted as young, sometimes winged, humanoids of small stature, they originally were depicted quite differently: tall, radiant, angelic beings or short, wizened trolls being two of the commonly mentioned forms. Diminutive fairies of one kind or another have been recorded for centuries, but occur alongside the human-sized beings; these have been depicted as ranging in size from very tiny up to the size of a human child. Even with these small fairies, however, their small size may be magically assumed rather than constant.
Wings, while common in Victorian and later artwork of fairies, are very rare in the folklore; even very small fairies flew with magic, sometimes flying on ragwort stems or the backs of birds. Nowadays, fairies are often depicted with ordinary insect or butterfly wings.
Fairy Hoax
In some folklore fairies have green eyes and often bite. Though they can confuse one with their words, fairies cannot lie. They hate being told 'thank you', as they see it as a sign of one forgetting the good deed done, and, instead, want something that will guarantee remembrance. In 2007, Dan Baine, an illusion designer for magicians from Londo posted images of a mummified dead fairy on his website, claiming it was found in Derbyshire. His webiste recorded 20,000 hits in one day. Then on 1 April, he appended a note "Even if you believe in fairies as I personally do, there will always have been an element of doubt in your mind that would suggest the remains are a hoax. However the magic created by the possibility of the fairy being real is something you will remember for the rest of your life".
For esoteric practitioners, fairies are, however different. They cannot be seen with the naked eye. Only someone whose third eye is open can see them. And even if opened, it has to be opened to a higher degree in order for the sights to have some form otherwise it would just be a blob of energy flying around. In healing work, we do call on certain healing fairies also. However, my personal experience is that healing angels work better for me. But this is not necessarily true for all healers as it depends on the healer affinity.

From The Secret - be grateful by default
It is so important that you are grateful for everything in your life. Many people focus on the one thing they want and then forget to be grateful for all the things they have. Without gratitude you cannot achieve anything through the law of attraction, because if you are not emanating gratitude from your being, then by default you are emanating ungratefulness. Be proactive and use the frequency of your being to receive what you want.

About Curses - Curses & Elimination (From the Manor Journal)
This is an interesting article from the Manor Journal. It's for those who are into esoterism. The Nature of Curses:
You may be surprised to know the power behind most curses is the fear factor of the victim. That means the effectiveness of most curses depend on the victim's negative psychological state. It is the fear generated by the victim that does the real harm and fear that is the important power behind a curse!
Of course, the energy generated by the magic practitioner in casting a curse is viable and has an negative effect. However, this plays a minor role compared to the mental state (fear or lack of fear) of the victim. That means that the victim is in an excellent position to neutralize and eliminate the effectiveness of any curse.
Of course some would not like you to know this little secret: Two things can be easily done to be rid of a curse.
1) Mindful Denial:
As a matter of physics and logic, if the energy of a curse is powered by the directed energy from the magic practitioner's mind, then the directed energy from the victim's mind can power a complete neutralization of the curse's power.
Knowledge is power. You now know that you have power over all curses. That power is the ability to cut off the curse's strength
by cutting off your fear.
To do this, you may wish to meditate for several minutes. Then: Consciously visualize a faucet running with water. The water is your energy and it nourishes the curse with the energy you provide. Now while still visualizing the faucet running with water, picture that you turn off the faucet.
The water has now stopped. The curse is no longer getting the energy it needs to survive. The curse is now of no effect!
2) Curse Elimination Ritual:
While it is not necessary to say a spell to remove a curse, it certainly will not hurt, especially if the curse is from a powerful
Crafter.
You will need:
- A quiet place.
- Table (altar) and a chair placed directly in front of the table.
- Your dagger (or any knife)
- One white utility candle (or any size candle , new or used) in a holder.
- An incense stick and holder. Use pine incense if handy. If not, then use frankincense, sandalwood, cinnamon, myrrh, jasmine, musk, lotus, honeysuckle, rose, or blueberry.
- Matches or a lighter for lighting the candle and incense. Wood matches are always preferable but not essential.
While this may be done at any time, the night of a full moon is better for all spellwork.
I suggest you lay a compass round (a circle) in the usual manner.
Place the white candle in holder, incense in holder, and dagger on the table in front of you. The dagger should be in front of your
power hand (right side of candle if you are right-handed). Lower or turn off the electric lights.
Light the candle and incense.
Be seated in the chair directly in front of the lit candle, which should be about 2-3 feet away.
I recommend a brief meditation before beginning, such as the Golden Ball.
After the meditation, open your eyes, remain perfectly quiet and look at the candle's flame for one minute. If you prefer, you can close your eyes after looking at the flame for a few seconds.
After about one minute say the following while seated (do not pick up the dagger):
Candle flame that flickers bright,
Rid negative energy with your light.
Herb for healing,
Herb for hope,
Herb for strength,
Help me cope.
I call upon my Spirit Guides and all other friendly spirits that wish to come and aid me in this rite.

Wait a few seconds then stand. Pick up the dagger in your power hand and extend your arms up in a Y shape, and continue in a
strong voice:
All curses great or small,
From near or far,
However sent,
Of whatever intent,
I now command you to be spent,
Dissolve and go away,
Ye not have me as your prey.
Now leave ["me" or victim's name] without delay,
Thus by my command,
["I'm" or victim's name] now free of torment,
As it is my will,
So shall it be!
This ends the ritual. You may sniff or pinch out the candle and incense, and use them again later. If the curse has had a strong effect or you suspect the Crafter that sent it is powerful, than allow the candle and incense to burn out on its own.
That's the end of the article from Manor Journal.
